I'm a teen changemaker and advocate dedicated to making the world a better place for young people.
I discovered the joy and honor that is public service in 2022, when I joined the YMCA's Youth in Government program. A true-to-life model of the state government, the conference introduced me to the way our government works and how young people can work together to make change. After four days, I was in love.
Since then, I've participated in several YMCA conferences and events including as an official in the Y's Youth in Government and Model United Nations programs, as a participant at the nationwide Conference on National Affairs, and as a Youth Advocate at the YMCA of the USA's National Advocacy Days in Washington, DC.
My advocacy work outside the Y includes collaboration with school district officials and state legislators on issues like school start times, and as a member of the League of Women Voters, expanding our citizens' participation in democracy.
Young people are here and ready to collaborate and make the world a better place. Let's work together to make it happen.
